York Food Festival Tickets Terms and Conditions
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In these terms and conditions "YFF" means York Food Festival and "Event" means the activity / tasting / workshop etc booked by the ticket holder.
1.SALE OF TICKETS
1.1 Please examine your tickets carefully upon receipt for any mistakes, and contact YFF immediately to rectify if needed. Exchanges / refunds can not be rectified on the day of the event.
1.2 Tickets you purchase are for personal use. Tickets must not be resold at a higher price than face value. York Food Festival has the right to cancel tickets that have been resold at a higher price and the holder may be refused entry.
York Food Festival must be informed of any transfer of tickets.
1.3 YFF reserves the right to introduce discounts and special offers at any time, and these cannot be applied to tickets already purchased.
1.4 YFF may restrict the sale of tickets to a maximum number per person (allocation). We reserve the right to cancel tickets bought in excess of this allocation.
2. CHANGES AND CANCELLED/RE-SCHEDULED EVENTS
2.1 It is the ticket holder responsibility to ascertain whether an event has been cancelled or re-scheduled and the date and time of any re-scheduled event.
Where an event is cancelled or re-scheduled, YFF will use all reasonable endeavours to notify the ticket holder using the details provided at the time of ordering.
2.2 It is the ticket holder responsibility to inform YFF of any change to the contact address, telephone number or email address provided at the time of ordering.
2.3 Programme and event details are correct at the time of sale, but changes may be unavoidable. YFF reserves the right to change the programme content / event times due to unforeseen circumstances. All ticket holders will be notified of any changes, if practicably possible.
2.4 If any YFF Event is planned to take place outdoors it will take place regardless of weather conditions (unless deemed unsafe by the YFF safety officer). There are no refunds for bad weather. We strongly advise that you come dressed appropriately for an outdoor Event.
3. REFUNDS
3.1 Refunds shall only be made to the person who purchased the tickets and, when possible, be made using the same method as was used to purchase the tickets.

4. ADMISSION
4.1 YFF reserve the right to refuese admission to the Event without a valid ticket.
4.2 YFF reserves the right to refuse admission, and to request any ticket holder to leave the venue at any time. For example, if a ticket holder appears to be under the influence of drink and/or drugs and/or is acting aggressively, carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances, the ticket holder may be refused admission.
4.3 YFF reserves the right to refuse re-admission to any person not in possession of a ticket or the retained portion of the ticket.
4.4 Every effort will be made to admit latecomers at a suitable break in event activities, but admission cannot always be guaranteed. This decision will be made at the discretion of YFF staff.
4.5 Children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
4.6 Nobody will be allowed admission to the Event without a valid ticket or pass.
4.7 All persons in a YFF venue must follow the instructions of any officials of YFF. Any persons in breach of this clause may be removed from the premises.
5. LIABILITY
5.1 Personal arrangements including travel, accommodation or hospitality relating to the event which have been arranged by ticket holder (and their party) are at your own risk. YFF's liability to you in connection with the event (including, but not limited to, in the event of cancellation, rescheduling or material change to the programme of the event) shall be limited to the ticket price paid by the ticket holder.
5.2 YFF will not be responsible for any loss, damage, death or injury howsoever caused unless (i) the relevant party has breached its legal obligations; and (ii) such loss or damage is a direct and reasonably foreseeable result of the breach. For the avoidance of doubt, YFF will not be responsible for the actions of any third party.
5.3 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions seeks to exclude or limit our or the event partner(s)’ liability for death or personal injury caused by our or the event partner(s)’ (as relevant) negligence, fraud or other type of liability which cannot by law be excluded or limited.
6.GENERAL
9.1 YFF or its agents may carry out film or sound recording in or around our venues. By purchasing tickets you consent to you and your party being included in any recording, and to its exploitation, without payment.
9.2 YFF occasionally acts as a box office for external events. YFF take no responsibility for any aspect of their event / operation. Any queries should be directed to the event organiser.
7. DATA PROTECTION
